Strength In Mumbers® Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made from this date onwards.
By booking a class with Strength In Mumbers®, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking. If you have any questions, contact us at info@strengthinmumbers.com.
About Us
Strength In Mumbers® provides postnatal and child-friendly fitness classes run by fully qualified pre- and postnatal exercise specialists.
Our classes are designed to be inclusive and adaptable, with modifications available to suit different abilities and stages of motherhood.
Who Our Classes Are For
Our classes are primarily aimed at postnatal women attending with their baby or young child, though you are welcome to attend without a child if you prefer.
Pregnant participants must follow the guidance of their midwife, GP, or consultant and must inform the instructor of their pregnancy, regardless of gestation.
Postnatal participants are generally accepted from:

6 weeks post-vaginal birth, or
-
6–12 weeks post-caesarean section,
subject to clearance from a health professional.
Our Classes

Classes last approximately 45 minutes

Classes are held at various venues in the Andover and Winchester area

Please arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled start time

Courses usually follow Hampshire school terms

Course length typically ranges from 5–7 weeks
Class schedules, venues, and availability are published on our website and may occasionally change.
Booking & Payment
Bookings can be made:
-
via our website and booking platform, or
-
manually via email or social media (at our discretion)
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure your place.
Where bookings are made through a third-party booking platform, their terms and conditions may also apply.
Once booked, you will receive confirmation details by email.
Cancellations, Refunds & Missed Classes
By booking a course, you commit to attending the full course.

We do not offer refunds for:
-
missed classes
-
part-completed courses
-
voluntary cancellations

Where possible, we may offer a make-up class within the same course timeframe, subject to availability. Make-up sessions have no cash value and cannot be carried over.
Refund requests for medical reasons will be considered case-by-case and may require supporting medical evidence.
If we cancel a class, we will make reasonable efforts to offer:

a replacement session, or
-
a refund for the cancelled class if a replacement is not possible.
If a class is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including severe weather), the same applies.
Venues & Personal Belongings
Venues are not owned or exclusively managed by Strength In Mumbers®, and availability may occasionally change.
Please take care of your belongings. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.
Extra Children
You are welcome to bring more than one child. Please inform us in advance of any additional children attending.
Only information necessary for safety purposes should be shared. All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
There is no additional charge for extra children.
Health & Safety
Before attending your first class, you must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q).
You must inform us of any changes to your health during a course so activities can be adapted appropriately.

Barefoot participation is not permitted
Participation is at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Children & Supervision
You are solely responsible for supervising your child(ren) at all times.
Our instructors are not DBS-checked and cannot provide childcare.
If you or your child are unwell, please do not attend class. We ask that you inform us promptly of any contagious illness (e.g. COVID-19, chickenpox, hand, foot and mouth disease).
Photography & Marketing
We may occasionally take photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes.
We will always seek consent before using identifiable images. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Personal Information
Personal data is processed in line with UK data protection law. For full details on how we collect and use personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Our Responsibility
We are not responsible for losses or damages caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or by failure to follow these Terms & Conditions.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Complaints & Issues
If you experience any issues, please contact us as soon as possible. We aim to resolve concerns informally and fairly, and may offer reasonable adjustments where appropriate.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will not affect existing bookings but will apply to future bookings.
